This is a comic that I started for a class last semester and finished up on my own over the last couple weeks. It's the long lost Greek myth of the Forgotten Daughter of Zeus. Comments, criticism, suggestions: all is welcome and appreciated. :)

Hilarious! I especially like the Zeus "crap" moment.

Wonderful -- my favorite moment is when Zeus gets an idea. Instead of a light bulb over his head, Apollo the Sun God pulls the sun over his head. Classic!

SAd endings make me sad :( too. Great watercolors. They always add a texture to the final piece that I really like

I wasn't expecting such a sad ending from such a lighthearted beginning O.o
Your colors and composition are excellent. I have a suggestion for the dialog, though. On p.1 the narrator says "Zeus had seduced and raped her many years ago." Seduced or raped, but it can't be both. A person who is seduced is willing.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! :)

Glad you all enjoyed the sad ending, despite its... being sad. :P

Sskessa - I used both "seduced" and "raped" on purpose for humor, fully aware that the two contradict each other. I've gotten mixed reactions to it. Some, like yourself, point out the contradiction, which is totally legit. Others have laughed that she was both seduced and raped because it makes no sense. How can one be seduced AND raped? It's a bit absurd, I admit, but that's why I like it and why I put it in there (in addition to the fact that in actual Greek mythology Zeus and the other Gods rape mortals all the friggin' time).

Though you can't deny the awesomeness of the mother's expression at the whole experience. He's the king of the gods so you'd figure that he'd better be good in bed with the amount of practice and experience he's had. Great mixed expression of "WTF?!" and "Oooo yeah!"

Oh, that was 10 kinds of excellent. I envy your water coloring skills! The inks and dialog and style and... it was all top notch. :)
