Ooh, something else from MOON! today, a little web ad we were asked to put together for another comics site a while back, hope it makes you smile! That honest looking fellow's name is RATT, and he's rather important in the story, but more of him later. New stuff on Friday, folkses, see you there!

Lorenzo!

Something a bit different today, folks, as we've just got a few pics from the Bristol con we did a month or so ago up on the site HERE. First up, here's one of my favorite sketches I did from the weekend, this one done for the very cool lil' lady Lefran who was down for the day with a load of guys from ConceptArt:

Then, at the end of the first day, a very talented surfboard shaper called Dale Walker showed up at our stand asking if I'd put some art down on the nose of one of his boards. Thinking it was gonna be a lil' boogie board or somesuch, I happily agreed, only to see him strolling towards our stand ten minutes later with his own personal, fresh off the bench nine ft longboard! Yoips! Anyways, you know ole' Lorenzo likes a challenge, so I took a deep breath and went for it...

More on Monday, guys!

Lorenzo!

Hey Chad! Hoho! Man, thank you SO much for digging this, and for bothering to throw it out there into the illustration section! That meant alot to me buddy, you the MAN!

Well, I hope everyone's weekend rocked! It's Monday morn early here in the UK, and I've just got back from a cool weekend of rumbling round the south coast in the ole' Amazon with my baby, dropping in on a load of old art school pals. Lots of fun, but it's left me super-keen to back in here and drop another week of posts for you guys! So here we are, I wanna start with a lil' MOON! flyer we did a while back, if that's okay with you guys!

More tomorrow, peoples!

Lorenzo!

Hey Blom! Thanks, man! That's very cool of you to say so!

So, it's time for another chunk of MOON! concept stuff, this one from a little while back, when I was doing some colour sketches using pencils and watercolours...

More on Wednesday!

Now it's time for a visit back to ole' Malcsy, methinks! This was the opening page to issue 10, showing both the colour and B & W storylines running together! Ooh!

More tomorrow, folks!

Okay, so here we are, the start of the new Studio Blink Twice BIG thread.

Hey Lorenzo! It's SilentBat from CAD-Forums! I didn't know you knew about Flight Forums. I've been here a year now and these guys are a great help. I'm sure you know that you seem to have more post here than me and know the people a lot better.

Hey SilentBat! Good to see you here, man! You're absolutely right, I'm a member of a few forums, and Flight is without doubt one of the friendliest, encouraging environments to share and improve on your comic book art anywhere on the web. Not to mention the fact that the standard of stuff posted by the guys in here is exceptional! It's a template for how all forums of this type should be, in my opinion! Thanks for posting, pal, see you over in CAD!

Okay, so last one of the week today, folks, as I'm skidding off to Norfolk in the Amazon to the ole' Blink Mansion for a few days. While I'm away, I hope this fellow keeps you entertained. There are many strange and dangerous creatures in the world of MOON!, but few come close to the mysterious and perilous inhabitants of the LOST SYSTEM...!

Oh, and No, I don't know what I was thinking when I drew that left arm either! Hoho! Hey, c'mon, guys! It's a sketch! Woip!

More soon, folkses!

Lorenzo!

Wow! This thread is so inspiring to just browse through! I'm totally amazed by the surfboard job!

How do you manage to maintain such a great work ethic?

Hey Kyubikitsy! Thanks for the kind words, man, glad this stuff inspires you, expect a little update on that surfboard quite soon...! As far as my work ethic goes, if there's one thing that makes me laugh, it's creators who spend their time moaning about how hard it is to hit a deadline, or how much work they have to do, like they're martyrs for their comics or something. The world is full of people working their a$$es off on jobs they HATE, but have to do, so why complain about doing something you love? I just don't understand it. This comic book lark is an absolute HOOT, and that's how I feel everytime I sit down to draw, or post in a forum, or do a show! It's a great thing to be doing, and I appreciate every gol'-darned second of it! Hoho! Thanks for you post, pal, hope to see you back here soon!

Ah, sweet Wednesday! It's been a while since we've said hello to that foolish ole' rabbit, so let's rectify that, shall we? Here's a teaser we did prior to the launch of MM10 back in May...ooh!

More VERY soon, folkses!

Lorenzo!

Okay, so time fore more of that nutsy MOON! concept stuff, with a fairly recent environmental sketch. My ethos for life is that you never know when you're gonna get caught with some time on your hands, so always keep some pencils and paper close at hand! With that in mind, I did this a few weeks ago on a moving train between Bristol and London, yikes!

Oh, and remember that surfboard design? Well I've got an update on that coming for you reeeeeal soon!

Lorenzo!
