Have you guys heard of "SUPINFOCOM" - it is a school in France that is pumping out some innovative 3d animation.

I recommend checking out "TIM TOM":

Yeah, Supinfocom churns out some very talented folks. I sent Don and Rob links to them and to the Gobelins school a while back. :)

yesterday i showed "overtime" in all of my ESL classes (beginning, intermediate, and advanced). the reactions i got from each class varied, but generally everyone really enjoyed the film. i'd have to say that my advanced class is the most fun so far because we can have discussions that vary from abstract ideas to philosophizing about life. for example, "overtime" provided a bridge to talking about how different cultures/individuals celebrate death. these are the teaching moments i live for.

i read your blog about scheduling. i have such a hard time with this as well. i have so many different checklists for all these different jobs and somehow i'm trying to make them all fuse together. for example, the article i'm writing about flight forced me to come check this out finally and read the books which in turn provided personal/artistic inspiration as well as giving me some ideas about how we want to revamp the animation show forums. furthermore, i try to integrate things i come across during my animation show research into my ESL classes. tonight i am going to introduce my intermediate class to copper.

i have always try to approach life from an interdisciplinary point of view which isn't always easy when you are taught growing up to take the "9-5pm" job. its certainly a challenge, but i live for this!

okay where was i?!?!?! see you tomorrow @ 1pm.

OMG THAT WAS GREAT!
Im afraid of the french... seems as if both thier 3d and 2d students are leaps and bounds above what wa going on, atleast, when i got out of school.

...which was only a year and a half ago, but still
Ive heard of Gobliens but supinfocom is all new to me.
