I read this a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. It's basically the autobiography of the author, who was born in Ireland and then moves to New York City with his family. But it can morbidly depressing at times and the dialect takes a time to get used to, a nice read all the same.

I read Angela's Ashes a few years ago. It's still one of my favorite books. Really incredible story.
