Wah, this is out?! We heard him play "Chicago" in San Diego, but other than that I've not heard anything.

Mmm. So pretty. I'm more interested in how they're going to cram all those song titles on to the back of the album.

Does Sufjan play shows solo, or have some additional musicians?

Also, how does this album compare to Seven Swans and Michigan?

That's crazy, I'll be in SD then, but I'll be at the Eisners.

He does a little of both. His backing band was called "the michigan militia" (complete with costumes!), but maybe he'll change that now. I haven't seen a full solo performance from him yet (he does that for some dates), though he did his encore "Romulus" without the band... I don't know why I always remember encores.

Gosh, it's the exact same scenario as last year! Don't let the 21+ barrier deter you! At least you won't forget to bring your ID entirely, like... me.

Jen,
I can't thank you enough for hooking me up with this. I am absolutely entranced by it. To say more wouldn't do this album justice. I may sound cheesy, but I mean it. This is some of the best stuff I've heard in a long time.
