I was procrastinating this afternoon and came up with the mix for the eventual collection of my music comics. This will likely only be of interest to a couple of people I imagine, but I thought I'd throw this out there anyway, in case you want to get an idea of where I'm heading with these stories, or want to actually make a CD of these songs.

Iron and Wine - Passing Afternoon
Joseph Arthur - Birthday Card
Sia - Breathe Me
Feist - One Evening
Elliott Smith - Bottle Up and Explode!
The Wrens - Happy
Sarah McLachlan - Elsewhere
Radiohead - Exit Music (for a film)
Rachel's - Last Things Last
Kupek - Poster Child For Happiness
Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea
The Notwist - One With The Freaks
New Order - Regret

...I think the last four songs pretty much save this from being a Sad Bastard mix.

Umm... It would be pretty illegal for Kean to sell these. I think the idea is that you've gotta make your own. ;)

Yeah, what Hope said. I may burn some to give out to friends, but that's about all I can do right now.

For those keeping track, I've added one more song to the mix, after writing out another story while on a patio in Ottawa. It's Neutral Milk Hotel's most excellent "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea." This (along with "Breathe Me") is going to get drawn sooner rather than later.

I am in that kind of mood right now, it seems.

Wow, I can't wait to see what you'll do with Neutral Milk Hotel. Are all of these going to be journal-type comics?

Kazu- Aren't you supposed to learn "Stairway to Heaven"? All budding guitarists learn Stairway!

Yeah, it's going to be more of that autobio crap. "Aeroplane" is basically going to be an extension of my story for "Elsewhere" and the events that followed immediately afterwards.
