DreamSpy

The best art book I have come across in a long time, Dreamspy collects
the illustrations of the Spanish Cartoonist, Max. It includes illustrations for
The New Yorker, Drawn and Quarterly, and other publications,
drawn between 1973-2003. This man is a genius. This book looks good
enough to eat. A big thanks to Enrico for bringing this book to my attention...

Kazu bought one of the last two copies in our store ;)

We're trying to get more in but for those who need a Max fix now -
Max illustrated a bilingual version of "The Little Mermaid" published by Chronicle.

He also did a (possibly self-published?)sketchbook that we're trying to track down, so keep your fingers crossed.

xo, jing

Yep. I bought mine at Super 7, where Mark had put a note on the copy saying it was his fave book in the store. You see how cool these cats are? Go to Super 7 everyone! :D
