okay, Since looking through the "Songs to wear Pants to" website, I really wanted to post for Liam Lynch. He was one of the guys from "Sifl and Olly" on MTV. It was a show where Sifl and Olly (sock puppets) sang songs and interviewed other sock puppets. I think it was in the early 90's - I only saw VHS recordings my friend had after the fact.


He does an EXCELLENT fake Bjork song - Supposedly, it's sometimes on Napster and other mp3 sites as "a super rare Bjork song" - it's that good.

Liam Lynch is great!! All of his Fake Songs are wonderfully done and spot on. His David Bowie impression is great and his Fake Pixies song is pretty damn good too. This CD was recently re-released with an bonus DVD featuring all of his music videos and some puppet stuff and animation he has done. It also has some behind the scenes recording clips.
The Puppets and animation are ok and occasionally funny. There are some real gems in the music videos.
If you havent heard this album I would reccomend picking it up, it has some really good songs on it Rock and Roll whore featuring Jack Black is a great song and Liam Lynch really right some catchy stuff. They are mostly songs that he recorded in his basement at around 3 am when he had nothing better to do. He even has Ringo Star drumming on a few songs, haha.
