hey everyone,
just wanted to let you know about my new project called LUNCHBOX. its a weekly web comic strip that ill try and print as a book every year. the premise (if there is one) is about these two little kids (brother & sister) who venture off into the world and ask questions we would all like answered. or something like that. anyway, keep in mind that im developing this as im going along. i'll see where it takes me...
ill post the strips on my personal BLOG as well, until the LUNCHBOX BLOG gets on its feet

These are really nice, it has a really nice subtle humor to it. I love the coloring on that last one.

I'll definately be keeping up with this one.

on a crit note, I wonder if you need the lines around the word baloones on the second strip? You left them out on the other two and I think it looks better. I also like how in the third one you used the gray to make the descenders. The hard black lines you used in the first two clashes a little bit against the more relaxed look of the rest of the strip.
- so.. to make a long story short, i like the word baloons in the third strip the best

about the word balloons, on the first two, ther tail is black because the Bg is white. so it reads better. on the last one the BGs are dark so i kept the tail white. but im still developing this strip so thing might change a little as i go along. i personally like the borderless balloon, but it might be hard to read sometimes. so i might just revert to the traditional word balloon with black border.

A little thing: the font you use on your balloons could be more «cartoon», like
http://www.blambot.com/fonts.shtml does ! ( Acme font or else!)
