We decided to add an intro of sorts. (attached) Going to print the 5th and final dummy and submit this sucka this week to Lee and Low Books!

Starting to wonder if it's impossible for an unpublished writer or illustrator (me) to get picked up by a publishing company. Maybe self-publishing to gain exposure is a better route..

The bunny pictures are remarkable- your obvious command of bunny anatomy shows, if only because you manage to make it look easy, with all the bunnies the same size, simply-drawn from all angles, and all convincing. The lone bunny climbing out of his cage is terrific! You could almost make the story work without any words at all. I can tell, for example, that the girl in the last panel is trying to disentangle bunny from dreads. Without any descriptive text.

I can see what you mean about the words not needed to understand, but both myself and my writer like the rhyming of the story. Here is a dialog example page. Also and example of one of a few pages that has type on the page.
