Trailer: http://www.firstshowing.net/2009/04/09/ ... ones-moon/

You have to get excited when you see something that’s so well made, using miniatures...but not only this...It has one of my favourite actors too!...Mr Sam Rockwell. It's a Sci-Fi persons time to get officially excited.

I never heard about this film, but now I'm officially intrigued. I read that it only will be showing up in limited theatres. I do hope it pops in a theatre in toronto.

Seems to have some "2001" or "Solaris" influence to it. Can't wait to see it. And it's directed by David Bowie's son!

i'm intrigued as well, although i'm not really a fan of outerspacecraziness films. this one has sam rockwell going for it though so that makes me a little more excited. :)

i keep forgetting to mention that i saw this film last weekend and really enjoyed it. i was worried it was just going to be anther "left in space for way way too long" movie (ex: sunshine, event horizon, solaris, 2001, etc...) which, i guess it is. but i dunno, better than those i guess. it has some nice twists and sam rockwell gets another chance to show us how awesome an actor he is. i enjoyed kevin spacey's character as well- especially his facial expressions.

anyhoo, its one of maybe four movies i'd recommend so far this lackluster summer.

although i'm seeing hp tomorrow. i hope i can recommend that. :)

yep, saw this movie too and you can add me to the list of people that really enjoyed the show. I really enjoyed Gerty's (Kevin Spacy's Role) and the facial expressions as well.

Also add me to the list of people who saw and loved it.
SO great to see a sci-fi movie that didn't involve space battles against aliens or asteroids about to destroy earth.
Not that I have anything against those when well done, mind you.
Moon was such a breath of fresh air. Like being stuck in a closed room for a long time and someone decided to open the door.

Highly recommended.
