I think I'm just going to start posting my stuff in one big thread from now on.
For one thing, I might have to slow down a bit or a lot in the next few weeks and months( definitely slowing down in two months(^_^)), and also, I'd like to keep it all packed into one..it's simpler that way.
What do you guys think?

Anyhow..
here's today's sketch, plus. a test, and a doodle animation!

This is the actual sketch of the day,
Image

The blue and orange one is another collage/textured test. I think it's only OK..but you tell me. I didn't spend enough time on it I think.

And, lastly, a little straight ahead animation..I just needed to zone out for a while and this came out! It feels good to animate again, even if it's total nonsense!
It's not time to the music, I just put that in there for the heck of it!

Cheers and have a GREAT day!

I think one solid sketch thread is a good idea. I really like the elephant theme so far. I know you will be cutting down, but I have to say I am in awe of your output. Really inspiring.

I checked out the animation, even though you did not time it to the music, the ambient nature seems to fit it anyway. Good choice. The animation was hilarious by-the-way.

I'm really sorry to hear about your dog, I know how you feel. Be strong you'll get through it.

That animation is great, Pascal. It's so, fluid.

And, for you and your crazyawesome (yes, crazyawesome) output of quality stuff, yeah, one big sketch blog is probably a good idea, heh.

As always, lookin' forward to seeing what you put out next. Guess I can wait what, ten minutes?

Love the animation, Pascal. Great rawness, the energy/acting and the tie in from beginning to end. How long did that one take you? Your "door" animation on your site is pretty awesome, too.

Dude, if I could do half the output of you, I'd be in good stead. Thread away, man. I always look forward to see what you'll post.

both are great, but I prefer the blue one. :) I love blue!
The animation is amazingly fluid as always! Great stuff, Pascal. :)

I much prefer the blue one myself as well, it has a nice polish with detail and depth. The other one, while interesting in terms of angle, I find to be rather bland and taking up more space than required, especially at the top and bottom edges. Maybe spice it up a bit.

Interesting weekend, and now a LONG week ahead of me, so here's a fast image!
Still playing with textures..I think I'm getting somewhere with them.

hey!
Thanks guys
Dark77778 totally agree. When I compare the first one with the blue image, it lacks so much stuff...BUT...it's a good thing to see that!
very good point.
Jerry!
HI ..how are you? 's been a while. Thank you

Muffin..(^_^) thank you.

Mestioko...you know.. it's just practice and a little discipline!
The animation took a couple of hours , more or less...I was in that"zone" thing. It's actually pretty uneven, but I think I'm so used to doing these type that whenever it's not perfectly timed, I see it.

Harry
(^_^)

James...Thank you for the kind words!
I miss her a lot.

Oh man...love the colours on these, and the movement...the grass being flung up in the air is a very nice touch.

The animation is really very impressive as well, the music goes with it, and adds character.

Now that I go to a studio in town, everyday I ride my bike down Market street.
The view I have from there is completely surreal on a regular basis, but, this morning, with the fog rolls over the city, and the sun coming up behind it, I had the impression of biking through a Turner painting, just.. you know.. bigger!
This sketch does not really capture at all the beauty of it, but, I think you should "get" how much I love this city!

Cheers and have a GREAT day!
