FABLEWOOD is a fantasy themed anthology from Ape Entertainment that was released this February. Just wanted to let everyone know they may be able to find the project at their local stores, and if not they can order it through the Ape Entertainment website.

http://www.ape-entertainment.com/store.htm

FABLEWOOD includes Flight contributors Sarah Mensinga and J.P. Ahonen as well as Flight board regulars Elanor Cooper, Jonathan Dalton, and Scott Hallett.

FABLEWOOD also compiles the talents of Ryan Ottley (Invincible, Superman/Batman Annual #1), Manny Trembley (Panda Xpress, Sam Noir: Samurai Detective), Joe Infunari (Oni Talent Search, Borrowed Time), Chris Studabaker (Howard E. Day Prize Nominee), Kevin Crossley (Event Horizon), Axel Machain (Metal Hurlant), Joe Suitor (Popgun Anthology) and more.

Thanks everyone. I am glad people are enjoying it.

Other little bit of news...

2008 Eisner Nominations are out and two contributors to Fablewood have received nominations for work they put out last year. Joe Infurnari, the writer/artist of Mandala and Manny Trembley who handled the colors on Blessings are both nominated in the Digital Comic Category. Manny Trembley is also nominated for Best Publication for Teens.

Best Publication for Teens
Laika, by Nick Abadzis (First Second)
The Mighty Skullboy Army, by Jacob Chabot (Dark Horse)
The Annotated Northwest Passage, by Scott Chantler (Oni)
PX! Book One: A Girl and Her Panda, by Manny Trembley and Eric A. Anderson (Shadowline/Image)
Satchel Paige: Striking Out Jim Crow, by James Sturm and Rich Tommaso (Center for Cartoon Studies/Hyperion)

Best Digital Comic
The Abominable Charles Christopher, by Karl Kerschl
Billy Dogma, Immortal, by Dean Haspiel
The Process, by Joe Infurnari
PX! By Manny Trembley and Eric A. Anderson
Sugarshock!, by Joss Whedon and Fabio Moon

I can't recommend both projects enough, if you have not seen them check them out online (and pick up the print version of PX).

Congratulations to both of them!
