Hopefully I am not bring something back from the dead, however, as anyone out there read Iron West? I picked it up last week and thought it was just great.

I really enjoyed Iron West alot, would probably rate it third after CT and EarthBoy Jacobus. It's just infused with fun and action and some great, great art. As always. Some bits don't quite work - Could have done without the Loch Ness Monster (felt like it was put in there just to be weird for weirds sake.).

Much better than Black Cherry, which felt like it was trying a little too hard.

Any news on CreatureTech the movie??? I agree, Iron West is good, but CT is the best. I'm a big Doug Tennapel fan!

and rayman, as well, if that's what your avatar is. : )

Yeah, I would have to say my TenNapel List goes Jacobus, Iron West, Creature Tech, then Tommysaurus Rex.

I read a few pages of Black Cherry and almost gagged, not sure what was going on there.

His black placement and drybrush are just pretty much the best and most successful application I've ever seen, though. And you can tell his aliens were inspired slightly by Watterson, my other fav cartoonist! :D

Hehe! I could see how my avatar could look like Rayman. Check out my character the Peck at

He's a quirky super hero who has a peck so big it swallows his head. :)
