I just did a quick redesign of the homepage since it's been bugging me for a while. I took a panel of Jake's comic and painted some more clouds to create the panoramic image. This is one of my favorite images from the book, so it was a joy to do. Jake, I hope I didn't ruin it!

Go check out the redesign while you're at it, and let me know what you think. Anything bugging you? Hard to read? Let me know...

I like this setup a lot better. The other one was just too bland, but this, this has personality! :)

Niiice :D This isn't better, but just grander to the feeling one should get from the Flight project,
at least I think so anyway.

Nice idea Kazu 8)

Good work Jake 8)

Wow, good job Kazu! I think the panoramic adjustment you made looks great.
I did like the black and blue feel of the old one, but perhaps this color theme fits the book as it will be published better.

SOOOoooo hot. 8) I dig this site design better too... the light colors complement the theme.

hey Kazu, these are some great colours! I really enjoy this one better than the last one, but the last one was really nice too. Great job, and I can't wait to see some previews like stated. - Randy

Great Googiley Moogley!!! Wow! That looks great! Big improvement. Nicely done, sir.

Edit: That may have come off a bit prickish. I sincerely like it.

This site is definately better than the last one. The theme of the site echoes the theme of the graphic novel better. I always tend to see sites that have black background to be not so creative. Too many sites to that, and it most of the sites misses the theme of the site (but some sites are better of with a blck background if it matches the theme).

Good work Kazu.

Mmmm... tasty!

You might want to put Scott's introduction into a basic html template (even one from Bolt City would do) -- the default Times New Roman font just ain't doing it for me. Scott McCloud's brain certainly deserves better presentation than that. :)

Kean, do you mean put it in a box? Okay, I'll work on it. The font is arial, though. Hehe.

Jake > Yeah, I liked the black and blue but I got a lot of comments that it felt too dark. Like you said, since it is going to print, the white tends to give it that "printy" feel for some reason...
