I don't want to derail this thread, so if anyone can help me, drop me a PM or something and I'll edit this post once my problem's solved.
I've ordered my 360, so now I'm trying to get my Gamertag. I've traditionally used "Tango Charlie" when I play PC games online. Problem is, that Gamertag is taken, and so is "TangoCharlie". Should I go with "Tango Charlie 01"? or "o Tango Charlie o"? Both of those kind of suck, so maybe I should come up with something new? I've secured "Tony Cliff", but that's so beige. Blah.

Haha! I'm "the philabusta" because "philabusta" was taken...
One common thing people do is bracket the name with different letters, such as:
X TangoCharlie X
lll Tango Charlie lll
Or any number of other combinations so that the bracketing letters don't read as letters.
I don't like the _____[name]_____01 approach, as it always seems sorta uncreative. And we know playing on XBox Live is all about creativity!!

P.S. - even better would be an intimidating and fear-striking name like "DaRkEWaRloCkXx"

just a warning to the rest of you.. if you see kazu on the opposite team.. run.. run very far away.
i just got a look at his stats.. and all i can say is wow... just wow. apparently, he's not as busy with flight, amulet, copper, his multitude of other projects, saving the world, etc,etc as he'd all like you to think!

maybe it's because i've never played halo mp before, or my preference to play FPS's on a mouse and keyboard.. but i just plain suck at the game... I mean, I just suck. I don't think i've gotten past.. last place in a match. :\Scott Hallett wrote:And here I was proud I got MVP for the first time yesterday...
Actually, I've always been pretty terrible at video games, and especially first person shooters. I'm fairly competent at Halo, but I lag far behind the philabusta (and a couple of other players on this forum). It seems one of the things that Dreamworks Animation does well is produce fine Halo players. Heheh.
And Stick's advice is actually pretty poor. If you see me, you want to run very, very close with some accurate grenade throws. I'm a good shot with the Battle Rifle so you want to be in close range.
