The movie is untitled as of right now, but for the people who saw the trailer while watching Transformers... it states that it comes out on 1/18/08.

It's look like a disaster movie, while it looks like a sequal to Godzilla...

I can't find any info on the movie anywhere. It's like a movie that no one wants you to know about.

Very clever marketing decision to have the trailer screen only at the movies.

Very clever indeed.

i've also heard this one being called cloverleaf.

that trailer was awesome though. it got me excited! i think the less i know about this one the better. i'm starting to feel the more i know about movies before hand, the less i enjoy them. let this one build up some suspense. :)

I'm curious about this myself. Its a cool trailer. The documentary feel was a nice touch. The realism got kicked up a notch. I wonder what it could be. I was thinking of those are fireballs flying in the air, maybe it's a three headed dragon or something. Could be a sequel to Godzilla?

I really hope this is not another godzilla movie. I'm so tired of sequels, spin offs, and adaptations, how about an origional film. Especialy with JJ Abrahams behind it, I would love to see something completely origional.

Maybe the smoke monster from LOST? I hope not. :P

Looks good, though, I'm happy the trailer isn't giving away the entire movie.

This trailer is just like an episode of Lost... looks really cool, I got all excited, and then I realized that just like Lost, they aren't giving us anything tangible... Hope this movie is more satisfying than Lost. :)

What the HELL is that smoke stuff?!? I wish they'd tell us already :-P Well, as far as the movie is concerned, it's getting pretty good hype from that single trailer. Let's just hope it was worth all the discussion.

An entire film made to look like a bad home movie? It's a creative concept, but I doubt I'll be able to sit through it.

Yeah, I know. I don't get the appeal of the home movie approach.

But perhaps the makers are thinking about the success of Blair Witch, which looked like REALLY bad home movies and was a very successful movie. Besides, YouTube et al have really gotten people conditioned not only to watching, but to passing around virally, bad home movies. All of that plus J.J. could equal Huge Success.

I like how the ordinary digi-cam look lent some verisimilitude to the computer generated imagery. CGI ordinarily looks unreal, and that's totally fine in fantasy and adventure movies, but its potential to scare is rather limited without a creative solution like this (not that it was 100% effective; just a little more unexpected). Anyhow, I didn't see any indication that the entire movie would look like that.

I dunno; like many trailers, it leaves me feeling mostly ambivalent. I'm just glad it didn't use a lot of random cuts and disembodied "WHOOSH!" "THUMP!" sound effects, which I'm sure will make these times a laughing stock to future generations of cinema-goers.
