This is a thread for people who love steak in whatever form.

I just found out today there's a form of "doneness" that's rarer than rare: blue rare. Apparently, it's searing the steak and taking it off the grill right away. I never realized this existed -- I wonder what would happen if I asked for this at a restaurant?

You would... die of E.coli, probably.

As for my position on steak, I still maintain a staunch pro-steak platform. It's the ideal meat experience-- not bland like chicken, not whiny like fish, and not creepy like veal. The only meat that comes close to it is turkey, and even that has to be augmented by various other condiments.
