Yeah, this is out of character for me, but whatever.

I've got a WWII-era Gibson J-50 that I play off and on, and the strings could stand to be replaced. I like how nylon sounds, but I've only ever seen nylon on classical (wide neck, Spanish, etc).
Anyone got experience with nylon strings on what is typcially steel-strung?

all I know is you don't want to put steel strings on a classical guitar
