Christmas Music

Some of all my all-time favorite songs are Christmas songs, and it seems like the right time to start a thread about it.

"Tis the season to be jolly..." and start Carol-themed threads...

That was a poor joke...

At any rate, yes. In the spirit of Christmas, I'm dedicating my sports opinion piece (I edit the sports section of our school paper) to Christmas carol parodies.

Happy holidays, all!

Sufjan Stevens has three Christmas EPs that are absolutely worth hunting down. Between traditional hymns and carols, he also recorded some great originals like "The Friendly Beasts," "Come On! Let's Boogie To The Elf Dance!" and "That Was The Worst Christmas Ever!"

It's good stuff, and this is coming from a guy that gets ridiculously sick of Christmas songs and carols by early December...

such a great soundtrack!

Also, anything by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a winner in my book. It's my favorite kind of Christmas music. :D
