So I read on http://fans.gorillaz.com/ that there's a new Gorillaz track floating around Brittish radio called "Dirty Harry!" Anybody know anything about this? ...or have an mp3 they care to share?

Awesome! Thanks man! Yeah, I like this track a lot. The new album's answer to "Clint Eastwood" I guess?

Anyway, there's some more music found in various parts of the official Gorillaz site, all of which are pretty keen. Especially the one in Russel's room. The new album's out in May, I think. I can't wait!

Thanks for the link!

Next album, they'll probably have a song called "The Man with No Name" or "The Outlaw Josey Wales."

Thanks alot for hosting.

On first listen this sounds different than the Automator Gorilllaz. It just seems like there's *more* production than before. I wonder if this is the kind of thing to expect from the new record.

Well, The new album is being produced by Danger Mouse instead of Dan the Automator, so that's why it sounds so different.

Sweet track, thanks for hosting it! Is everybody coming back (performer-wise) for this album? I hear some familiar voices, but some new ones too...

Well, as Ant said, Dan the Automator is out, and Danger Mouse is in, as far as producer. Damon Albarn and I think Miho Hatori will be returning. At least I assume Miho is, because Noodle has become an important part of the Gorillaz "storyline" or whatever is going on at gorillaz.com However I heard not to expect Del to return, which is unfortunate. The only guest I've read that is confirmed is De La Soul, so that's almost enough to make up for Del, ha ha. Who is that on Dirty Harry?

Okay, so I did some looking around on the internet and read some pretty interesting rumors and things about guests on the next album...besides De La Soul, people like the Bees, Ghostface Killah (from the Wu-Tang Clan), have been mentioned and weirdest of them all...DENNIS HOPPER!?!

Oh yeah, and the guy on Dirty Harry was from the Pharcyde, I guess.

...DENNIS HOPPER!

yeah Dangermouse put out a dope album with Gemini (a rapper from BK) the production is very tight. He does a very good job at sampling and not sample jacking, like Automator. Thanks for the info on this album guys. I am excited to hear what it sounds like.

Smooth. Love the background vocals. Makes me wish I had the funk. Alas, I'm only semi-funk.
