Here is blues legend Robert Johnson, who supposedly sold his sold to the devil at the crossroads in exchange for his musical abilities. This was the first large watercolor painting I’ve done in a while, and I’m pretty happy with it. Some of the blending is a little rough, but I think that fits the feel I was trying to give it.

Ah ha ha! I love your collection of eyes. Very fun. On a related note...

The March Hare picture seems like two separate images stuck together. The top has this wonderfully psychotic expression and surly body language, but the bottom is just a sedate rabbit sitting. It seems like some twitching, tapping of the feet, or slightly off angle of the feet is in order.

Of course, I am poking at that image because I loved the top of it so much. And you have so many awesome images here that it is hard for me to go through them all!

This guy is one of our oldest characters, actually. You will see him again… but probably not in this form.



The idea with this lovable little zombie is that he just happened to be playing with a squirt gun when he… turned. Now he’s stuck mindlessly holding it… and without a hand to pump it up if he wanted to. How sad…

I'm pretty happy with this image, but I think I could have made the pose much more dramatic. Any thoughts?

For some reason, a few weeks ago I started drawing Abe Lincoln quite a bit. He definitely had an interesting face. I’m not sure that I really captured him in any of these, but I enjoy the first and last the most.

Hahaha, a Cheshire cat with a rather demonic smile...wouldn't want to see that hiding in a tree. I really like the scratchboard piece with teh man smoking. It's really nice how you put the light reflecting on his face.
