for a screenplay i'm writing about a magical mail-order catalogue :-)

the story will be serialized in Flight too!

two more images from the story:

it's a pitch for a live-action film so I'm try to give it that feel w/out it being boringly photorealistic...

man, i think you really pulled of a difficult job in balancing this composition! I don't think I have anything to say except please keep making art. When I see your stuff it really shows me the possibilities of the visual medium.

Man, I love how that robot is so weird. And the lower composition with the kid is excellent. :D

The contrast between the blurred treeline and the details on the robot is awesome.

Is the robot meant to be a toy robot grown out of proportion? Looks like it...

Good luck with the screenplay, BTW!!!

Oh man, I love what you did with the smudge tool in the treetops. It looks just like a watercolour (but it isn't... right?).

The rest of it is pretty good as well, I suppose.

Hey! You added more details! ...I did a double-take looking at it this time, you know... there's something about the claw that doesn't look quite right. I think it's because it looks so flat compared to the rest of the painting. Then again, it's probably just another layer...it's really looking great!
