Monsterbirdcar!

Post by Jason C-M » Thu Oct 20, 2005 1:44 pm

My daughter has been wanting a Monsterbird car for more than a year. She's described Monsterbirdcars for me (there are lots of different models) and even drawn a couple pictures, but that's never been enough for her.

After months of pleading and discussion, she finally accepted that there is no such thing as a "Monsterbirdcar store."

So she checked a movie out from the library about how cars are made so she could build the car herself.

But then I told her I couldn't buy all the robots she saw in the movie making the cars, so she's a little discouraged.

I know a picture of one is going to be a poor second for her, but it's what I can do:

"Oh, you drew it right! Good job."

She can be hypercritical, so I was pretty pleased I'd gotten it right.

I want a monsterbird car.
Does it come in Blue Jay or Raven? Perhaps, Chickadee?

Good work!

To misquote Henry Ford, "You can have it in any colour you want, as long as it's a blackbird."

After a few days away from this piece I'm starting to see things I want to change in it, so if anyone has any crits shout 'em out.

Seems like there should be more shadow under the frontmost tire but I could be wrong.

It is a so cool image!!! I like it alot and have found out a way to build it. If you use a Segway ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=507846 ) and rebuild it into a much bigger version you can have it on the road with 2 wheels. A real cool image!
