Sample's from Lorenzo's sketchbook...

Post by Bob Blink » Wed Aug 10, 2005 8:30 am

Hey guys

Just thought I post a few images from My Brother Lorenzo's online sketchbook. He's currently illustrating three UK Independent titles (for numerous pages from our current titles go here - http://www.studioblinktwice.com and check out the 4-page previews in the Product/catalgue section) but I just can't stop him drawing! Here's a few samples of his work, mainly just to show his stylistic range and the fun he has with brush, pencil and mac!

Hope you like them. Let us know what you think!

Kind regards

Bob Etherington

Hey guys! Thanks so much for your kind feedback, and for taking the time to check out the pics! As you might know, most of my time is spent illustrating my ridiculously talented writer-of-a-brother Bob's insane stories for Malcolm Magic, Tusk and the rest, but when no-one's looking, I down the Mac, the Comic Book Board and the Inking Nibs, pick up a paint brush and scribble and daub until some 4-wheeled mean machine appears on the page before me. Over here in the UK Hot Rodding isn't as huge as it is in the states, so I have to make do with chopping the tops on my own vintage British Tin, while on paper I dream of Deuce Coups and Kustom Mercs...sigh. Here's a few more of my chopped, dropped, shaved blown and tubbed bad boys, hope you enjoy!

Lorenzo!

Hey Kazu,
No probs man, was a pleasure. Don't know if Lorenzo posted you a copy of Malcolm Issue 7 but we're now moving our regular comic title towards full colour art so the styles shaping up nicely. Here's a little taster, but you can see more over in the comic section of these forums.
