Hehe these are really cool man. I really like the one with the lion. The perspective on tinman looks a bit odd though. It could be his pose. Certainly the ax looks weird. He's stuck there right and needs some oil?

Colour. Due to the documented heat factor...i decided to stay digital. The paint just wasn't moving properly...and well...digital is quicker.
So here are the first two.

Hey thanks guys...thankyou!!

Here are the last two for now
Had SO much trouble colouring the lion. Went from a relatively realistic colour scheme, browns and greens...to something a bit more surreal with pinks and purples...daytime, nightime, dappled light, direct light...GAH!!

Anyway...ended up with this...trying to get across a sense of foreboding Let me know what you think....also darkened up the background of the tinman...to bring him more in line with the lion...make them work as a set.
Anyway...let me know your thoughts...thanks again,
d.

These latest two are probably my favourites of the bunch... The Lion especially.

I like the scarecrow the best.. It has nice colors, and I like the crow. And it's funny that he's trying to get a brain by reading. Very cute.

The last two are great. Actually, the first two are great also. My favourite is the lion. Great expression/body language.
