Bad. Ass.

The colors are pretty, but I think our boy would pop out more if he had more saturated colors on him. The day/night just seems so grey making the time indeterminate.

Could just be me. Still badass.

dryponder: I see what your saying. I was going for a dusky tone, like the light is just before the sun goes away. I think if I put a little bit of blue in the sky colors instead of leaving it gray it might bring it all together more.

Haha, I was about to post that I must've been wrong. Blue in the sky definitely set the mood/time-frame. Great job.

Nice work on perspective - it looks very natural, while it must have been hard to draw that kind of body position the right way. He looks like he's flying and not like he's pasted in this background. Great job.

Wow. That is poetry.

Something about the twilight, the hero's expression, his posture (not quite the classic superhero flight position, but reaching, making it look like he's actually *working* at flight) and the details of the town below, which look like a real place ... there's a melancholy to the image. The superhero in the suburbs. Love it.
