FLIGHT

Howdy all.

I've been a doodler for a long time, but never really completed much. Except for web graphics stuff and some bad illustrations (in my opinion). I'm looking to build up some skills and better my drawing ability.

If anyone would care to critique this illustration for kids shirts, I would greatly appreciate it.

The above design didn't do well at the T-shirt site I submitted it to. The scores were kind of low. So, I've decided to take another crack at the composition. This is just a very very quick sketch. I wanted to roughly get the composition and elements down before working the drawing to a finished product.

Is this design/concept even worth pursuing?
