Banners [Updated - banner 3 + 4]

Post by Joost » Thu Jul 09, 2009 7:55 am

Hai, I’m Joost and I have been lurking around on the forums for a while and thought it might be time to share some of my work with you.

Here are the first 2 of 4 banners I made for my daughters bedroom.

Please feel free to give any comment and/or critique.

Groetjes,
Joost.

Thanks Pascal! Your comment means a lot to me.

I'm making a comic in the same style as these banners featuring the bottom figure of banner #3. I hope to post an colored page in the comics forum somewhere next week. So keep an eye out.

Groetjes,
Joost.

How old is your daughter?
Mine is ten months old now, and, before she was born, I did a few murals and a ton of images that we put up in her room.
Now, every morning, when I get her up and changed, she stands up against the wall and stares at the one right above her changing table and touches the characters. Not just anywhere on the image, but just the characters...it makes me feel SOOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly proud!!

My daughter is almost 8 months now. And she does exactly the same thing, she can't stand yet, but if I hold near to one of the banners she will only touch the characters. It is sure something that makes you proud!

To be honest I was a little bit scared in the beginning that she might not even notice them at all. That they would be just as interesting to her as the wallpaper in her room. I'm sure glad she likes them.
