Post by Crowmire » Wed Jun 03, 2009 11:19 am

heya!

my "boss" recommended this site, so I thought I'll join in and share some of my work.

Here's a piece I just finished:

It's for steampunk world called "Miatra", which I've been working on for a while now.

any C&C is welcome!

Cheers!

edit: fixed the link for slightly improved version.

Hey Crowmire, glad to have you! I like the mechanical arm. Seems like there's an interesting history to the guy. Hope to see more
of this "Miatra".

Welcome aboard, Crowmire! I really like your work, the composition and all, and it's fun to see how your skills in miniature painting also come out in digital form. I'd personally play around with the contrasts a little, and maybe try out a few tones or etc.

But that's pretty much the crits I have at the moment. Good job, looking forward to seeing other stuff as well!

thank's for the feedback.

I fixed few details and made a version with alternative tone as suggested.
there's still few touches I could do to, but I think I'll move on to next one and revisit these later when I feel like it.

and yes, there will be more, but I'm still practising the coloring, so I'm still quite slow.

without further ado, here's the alt. version:

Sweet! I really like how the yellows pop out. There's a nice contrast between them and the blue capsules too.
