The moomin images are GREAT! I grew up reading the moomin books too, and I think you did a great job capturing that essence which makes the so good. I love 'em.
Moominssss. <3
So so nice colours and lighting in all your pictures.

@Disa Moomins are the best! I only ever meet people from the cold parts of Europe or people who have parents from there who even know what Moomins are. I have a Snufkin keychain, and every so often someone will recognize who Snufkin is.

@Arrow thanks!

Here's something a little different. I think I was influenced by a couple of days of looking at the production blog for the Secret of Kells.

and also, experimenting with making things look watercolorish in Photoshop. I realize now I probably should leave some telltale white areas like watercolor usually has - but I'm not sure I'm interested in actually making it look exactly like watercolor as much as making it look more physical.

I think I've decided I am! I was trying to figure out if I should go for the full 3 day, everything pass. I really want access to that recruiting stuff. Plus, at least I don't have to fly or find a place to stay - that sure makes things easier.

Very nice contrasts in your images, cool/warm, light/dark. I need to learn from this!
I really like the look of the mountains in the little boat picture, nicely textured
Also, really late response but: Heck yeah, I've got a snufkin keychain too! He's my favourite ... <3 Hey, where are you from?

I absolutely love the polluted city image... The colors and composition make it hard for me to take my eyes off of it! :)

@Disa Snufkin is the best! I tried to learn harmonica when I was little because I loved him so much. But it made my dog howl so I had to stop. I'm from the states, but my mom is from Finland (and I have Finnish citizenship)

@jonfl1 thanks man!

@Arrow thanks! It was fun to try a new style.

Great illustration, I love the lighting! I like the dove being on the border of light and dark.
