Earlier this year, I did a children book and an animation based on a song by a band called They Might Be Giants.

The books is now out in all good bookstores, and, for those of you who are in the bay area, there will be a book signing with the band and myself on Thursday, November 12, at 4 00 PM,at the Booksmith bookstore, on Haight Street, in San Francisco!

We'd love to see you there if you can!
Here's a link to the book store

, and to the book itself.

A few days ago I was invited to participate in a charity auction for the Loma Linda Children's hospital.
You can find more about this here
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=1 ... 62&index=1

This is also an open call for all the artists out there who want to do something for the children!

Strasbourg, November 1997

A little while ago, I started doing some sketches of Strasbourg, the city where I went to college. Here's another.

I think the name of this street was ' Le quai des Batteleurs"..?
It was on the way to school.
There was this boat there, that was also a restaurant, and, in the morning, geese would use the river ( L'ill) as a take off ramp. I should do a sketch of just that as well!

Thank you Wendy!

Here's another memory sketch of my college days.
As students we use to go eat a cafeteria called "FEC" which was fairly close to the school.
This is a very vague memory of what the place where it was looked like.

An actual sketch, straight out of the sketchbook!
I'd love to go on a trip somewhere with my family right now!

The book looks fun! :D And your daily illustrations is as always amazing! :D
The train-illustration that you did for the charity auction was one of the illustrations featured about the auction on Lines and Colors; http://www.linesandcolors.com/2009/11/19/gifted-artist/
