Cool drawing.
I've read that book. It was written by C.S. Lewis, the guy who wrote The Chronicles of Narnia. It's part of the Cosmic Trilogy which includes 'That Hideous Strength' and 'Out of the Silent Planet'.
Have you ever seen the cover for the trilogy painted by Brian Froud?

That's pretty cool... I think it's challenging to use green in that way, but you've done it well...

And I would LOVE to do a fantasy comic one day. I actually have an idea up im my head... but not flushed out enought.
