This is in my top two favorite Sandman stories that Neil Gaiman wrote, the other being the story in the Dream Country about the writer who kidnaps a muse for inspiration.
The art is fantastic! It was done by Yoshitaka Amano and it's in a very interesting style.
The method of storytelling is that the story is on one page and the art is on the page next to it. What format is this? Illustrated novel, or something like that?
