Is/Has anyone besides me tackled this giant masterwork by David Foster Wallace?

I am in the middle of its thousand-page glory right now and it has very much influenced my recent thinking and writing. It's very vivid, very colloquial, and hilarious. infinite jest is one of the most worthwhile reads i've had to tackle.
great use of language by david foster wallace.
took a while reading, not so much because of the volume, more about the way he uses the language.
have you tried any others by him, i also recommend 'the girl with curious hair' some great little short stories.

Yeah... very deliberate, very colloquial. I'm nearing the end after a couple of months of reading; I guess that's standard for this book. I plan on consuming 'Broom of the System' sometime soon, although it might be a bit much right after IJ
