I gave up on the show half way through season 2... I still watch it with "hope" that it will get on track.

The Desmond episode did not show me that its getting on track, BUT it was the best episode in the last 2 years. I thought the acting and writing were top notch. Just a great stand alone episode. The show can still shine if it wants to, it just doesnt seem to want to that often.

Well, I have to say, the Desmond ep got me back.

The next ep was a bit more soap opera-ish, but that's the way of things, I guess. Hope more answers to the big show mythology are on the way.

If there has been an incursion by the hostiles enter 7 7... That junk was awesome. Best show on television.

What the hell is the matter with John? First he leaves the hostage to play on the computer and almost gets himself killed, then he enters 77 and blows up any chance of outside communication. That's that second time he messed up while infront of the computer.
Sayid is still the man though, probably favorite character on the show thus far.
