I've just come back from the movies, now I'm downloading Beatles songs once again. I saw it in the original version with very distracting subtitles, but I loved it. All black and white, the very young, very cute Beatles, always running away from their fans, together with Paul's wacky Irish grandfather who always gets them into trouble, but is "very clean". In the end, there's this TV concert, young girls screaming, crying, tearing their hair (why are they tearing their hair?) and I was a little sad. But it was cool!

(runs off screaming, crying, tearing her hair)

I always liked Hard Days Night. It's got that universal aspect to it that will be funny for any generation to watch it. Truthfully though, I much prefered the animated bizarreness of Yellow Submarine (i hate that Blue Meanie).

On a side note: Have you heard "Let it be... Naked"? It's the Let it be Album but without the choirs and orchestras and effects. Really nice.

Beatle fans... Finally, I found some. I wanted to say the Beatles are the best band overall then any other band to this point, and I love Pink Floyd (Roger Waters era) and Led Zeppelin. I personally just think that no one will ever beat them (the Beatles) point blank, ever. Sadly, I'm not a big fan of the young Beatles yrs though. I grew listening to them as a child, but the older stuff just means more to me and feels more real and not trying to sell to the masses. I do think they had super talent in the early yrs not found in today's boy bands (Why do they call them boy bands when they are not always boys and never a band?) Some people get pissed when I say they were a boy band, but it's the truth. Anyone who know, knows they had to play the game to make it into the industry. But once they got control of their careers, their art was able to be directed out to us as they saw fit. Anyhow, I love the older Beatles after Rubber Soul till the demise in the Yoko era. My favorite Beatle has always been John, but I've grown to love Paul with the help of my friend who also showed me the musical genius of Brian (Beach Boys) Wilson. I like It's a hard days Night for the history it shows, but Let it Be and John's Imagine and making of Imagine stuff is awesome. Speaking of Yellow Submarine, that was a crazy trip. And Let it Be Naked without Phil Spector's Wall of Sound (Which Paul despises till this day, which is why this was finally released.) is something to have right next to the anthology disk set of outtakes and alternatives of Beatle hits. Well, enough of my Beatle fan loving nonsense.

I don't care whether it's their old or newer stuff, I love it all. This was my first Beatles movie though. I'll sing along with any song of theirs, though, wiggle in my chair and smile inanely. My brother and me used to put on my dad's Beatles records and listen to them again and again and again. It drove my dad crazy, so he locked them away. One day we found the key. Happiness ensued. Unfortunately, I don't have any Beatles cds except the White album (which is my favorite, anyway) and a few downloaded songs. But I'll make the record player play tomorrow.

And Pink Floyd is great, too.
