i wasn't expecting it to keep the setting of the original.

I was a little bit sad that they remade King Kong. The original is so good!!!

I'll still go see it, regardless.

I saw a sneak preview of War of the Worlds tonight and King Kong was one of the previews they played. I think it looks like it will be pretty good. Jack Black looks like he is going to deliver an awesome performance. Plus dinosaurs and monkeys fighting.... although I was a little dissapointed cause it looked like they were relying on a lot of computer effects, and I just think monsters always look better as puppets.
i knows it's spelled wrong! i'm just alphabetically apathetic

Woah, crazy! Looks good though. Is it just me or is this King Kong a little smaller? Been a long time since I've seen the original so...

It looks fantastic. I was just reading an article in Newsweek about Dinosaurs and I thought, "Man, Jurassic Park was a cool film".

I can't wait to see some dinosaurs again on the big screen. And the Giant Ape of course.

And the giant ape FIGHTING the dinosaurs. That's the important thing.

After Lord of the Rings, I'm pretty much willing to follow Jackson off of a cliff. He's the new Spielberg. I don't know what happened to the old Spielberg.

All I can say is, Jack Black whispers portentuously, "I've come into possession of a map," and I hear "Oh my god, inward singing, check it OUT!"
He says "A place that was thought to exist only in myth, until now," and I hear "All of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon, in the middle of the road"
he says "Scream, Ann, scream for your life!" and I hear "Put two of them up your ass, and give me four chicken mcnuggets!"

Oh well, at least this will be a lot of fun in the theater for my friends and I, regardless of the quality of the film.

YES! i totally agree with you! hahahahahhah
this, if anything, whether it's gonna be horrible or amazing, is gonna make me giggle everytime jack black says something. i cant take the dude seriously. and i dont mean that in a bad way. its just that even his straight face makes me burst out with laughter. cock pushups.

but that aside, this film looks fucking brutal. i can't wait to see it! we're over due for a good dinosaur movie.

Is it just me or did anyone else imagine jack black climbing up the empire state building when they heard he was in this?
