Awesome. I love the Frazetta-style poses. And the hilarity.

The colors really impressed me on this one. They just seemed right.

agreed with one poster above, the cover page alone is priceless xD

the effect reminds me (very indirectly) of those Calvin & Hobbes strips where Watterson would draw grown-up Calvin and Susie arguing with the most ridiculous dialogue. <3

That's got to be He-Man under the mask. Right?

Thanks to everyone for your suppport. Yes, I'm very proud of the Swordsman MonsterSlayer. It's funny, right when I finished that comic I busted out my copy of Flight 2 and noticed that my buddy Khang's story was called "the Monster Slayers." I swear this was a coincidence! Or, at least might have been subconscious. Anyway I thought it was funny. As for the man under the mask, I'm not sure if I want to show Swordsman's face in subsequent adventures. Ideally he would have that same little girl haircut that he-man had, but he's definitely not blonde, and probably has a big beard. Maybe red hair.

The costume has it's origins in my childhood, and I consciously referenced this man, our hero:

Anyway, thanks for reading my little joke of a comic. By the way, I'm going to ad the original black-and-white pages back into the original post, so you can compare if you want.

hope to see some of you at the Comic-Con

This is excellent and so dang fun! Too many great panels to mention, but page 3 is especially cool. What a cool thing to do with your brother!

I gotta say this is one of my favorite things ive seen here. The style and the colors are just wonderful. Your Palette and color placement just kicked an already great little comic up a few notches!

This is by far, one of the funniest comics I've seen. The pacing, the art, the color, and especially the dialogue is brilliant. I can't wait to see more--and like a previous poster said, it also reminds me a little of C&H. :D
