Swordsman Monster Slayer -- colored

Post by Frank Stockton » Thu Jul 06, 2006 3:31 pm

hello,

the following is a little story I cooked up together with my eight year-old brother. I used it as a vehicle to try out some compositional ideas I've been having about comics. The third value (or color) is an integral part of what I want to do with these pages but it's not there now (but you still get the idea of what's going on). Basically there'll be lighting effects and more monsters, shadows, etc. when i add the colors. Also word bubbles will be encircled when I put the third value in. Anyway, critique is welcome, anything that bothers you bothers me if you don't say anything.

Perhaps I will continue the zany adventures of the Swordsman Monster Slayer, but I have to wait for my little bro. to hand in some more plots.

HOLY-MOLY! Colour version is boil-in-the-bag GENIUS!!! Man, your palette on this one is off the scale, F! Amazing! And written with your lil' bro, too! That's very cool!
