I've been posting some of my sketchbook pages in blog form at http://neilcomics.com if you would like to tune in! There's even a fancy RSS feed and everything.

Great comics, Neil. I really enjoy the flow of each one. Actually, it's very refreshing to read a comic that doesn't feel so boxed in as so many others. I hope you keep at it! I enjoy stopping by your site.

Moms have a really praeternatural knack for giving completely worthless and disgusting information. The "ew" is melodramatically framed (to amusing effect), but then again... it's diarrhea!

Ew.

Hey thank you guys! These are all from a tiny sketchbook, so I just draw everything in free-flow rather than laying out panels with a ruler. I'm glad that it works without borders! I hope it conveys spontaneity rather than laziness.

I'm having some blogger.com server trouble posting the next one, so here is a sneak preview:

I totally dig how free it feels. How it doesn't feel 'boxed in'. Great work. =]

Yes! Comics without panel borders rock. I've done a few but that was a while ago- I should do more.

I'm with Michael. I'm going to have to subscribe to the RSS feed. I like how you colored yourself in the new one. Makes it easier to follow. Never put much thought that color could help in the timing of a comic before.

Those are great! The paneless storytelling works wonderfully, your inks as lively as ever, if not more so.

And I looooove your new avatar. Too cute!!
