Zita's Story

Post by househatke » Mon Jul 26, 2004 9:17 pm

Boy howdy, it's been a long time since I've made a Zita comic. I was thinking of everyone at the Con this weekend and wishing I was along for the ride, so I took some time for my own comics, at least.

I have another, longer, Zita comic inked, but who knows when I will find time to color it. I hope soon. Anyway, here's a short one:

Not just brilliant... brilliantly brilliant.

It's perfect, I love the girl's expression at the end.

Ya gotta love Zita. Poor green creature. That explosion looks very cool, by the way.

Oh, hey. I just realized that this is an allegory for my weekend!

You guys are all the happy rainbow monsters, flying about so full of joy, like I imagine you all were at the con. I am the bitter green guy, stuck down below (you have to also imagine the green guy installing a new floor in his kitchen, 'cause that's what I did).

Looks like this is one of those "silent cries for help."

Oh yeah, I've had times where I could totally agree with the green guy :?
(Wonder if the nuking would have worked though...)

heh, great comic. Sometimes I wish I could explode, but it is probably best that I can't. Someone would have to clean up the mess after all (and I imagine it would be quite... gooey).
