mikael P.: sweet glad you like it! yeah its water color (applied in photoshop using watercolor scans) and ink on bristol board. as for the THUD, originally that panel was just black, but I got a lot of "is that supposed to be black?" so I figured that wasn't working. The thud was added in there in a desperate attempt to give readers an idea of what happened, but I know there's got to be a better way to show the reader that he fell and hit the ground which caused him to black out.
