Moving along, slowly but surely. I promise we're getting somewhere.... Thanks as always for looking!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. :)

Wrote this on the website, but here's some thoughts on this week's update:

This page is dedicated to Opus, a strip I used to enjoy, then recently rediscovered, only to learn it was ending once and for all. The final strip ran this past Sunday. It’s an odd coincidence that the last panel in this week’s Swoop is so similar to Opus‘ last panel, but rather than ignore it, I thought I’d tip my hat instead to Berkeley Breathed and the wonderful world he’s left behind.

While I don’t necessarily empathize with Mr. Breathed’s reasons for ending the strip, I can certainly relate to his desire to reclaim innocence through children’s storytelling. As well as looking forward to fresh beginnings.

I really like this.
I think the panel with Swoop sleeping in the little house has got to be one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time.

Hey guys, sorry for the late posting. Was on the road the entire day and forgot to post my update here last night. Here it is:

Was in a huge rush to get this one done, and I'm not entirely happy with it. Will probably tweak it when I get back from my vacation. Hope you enjoy it nevertheless. :)

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite comics. There's a lot of good ones out there, but when I see a comic like this it just makes me want to start all over again at the drawing board.

Plus, as an extra bonus, I appreciate the Bay Area references, being from the Bay Area myself.

Keep up the great work!

tpiro - Awesome to see someone catching the bay area references. :) I know what you mean about wanting to start over.... happens to me all the time. Not to worry - you've definitely got a great thing going on Calamities!
