Hi. So I've been focusing more on Maya and After Effects the past few months, but I also managed to do a 6 part Maxwell. I'm putting a page up each week for the next few weeks. Here's the first 2 pages.

Even though she's near to death I find it so funny and entertaining.

What kind of textured paper are you using? It's a simple texture but it adds an extra dimension to the color by itself.

Hey you're fellow AM student! Right on. Maxwell is a fun comic. I totally wasn't expecting the current action sequence. Interesting turn of events. What happens next?

fo realz dude, you got a little following brewing here. Nice job. Keep em coming. I like that the story is rooted in chinese culture and not some rehash of charlie brown or some other comic strip. Do you sketch this out traditionally or is it digital?

Yeah Jake, I'm starting Class 6 for AM in a week. Good to see some fellow AMers on this board! Hopefully I'll survive this semester heh.
Thanks Silent Bat, ABG, Eric.
I draw my comics by hand, but I ink them in Flash, and I add the paper texture in Photoshop. I convert the file to CYMK and then select the CYM channels in the Channel editor and apply the Halftone filter onto the layer.
