I don't know if it's just me, but people seem to be trying to learn Japanese hereabouts because it's cool or something. It seems strange to me.

I need to re-learn cantonese, I learned it at about the same time I learned English, those formative years, but have forgotten almost all of it.

heh, i'm like you guys, i was born in china but my chinese is sooo terrible, it's embarrassing, i tried ordering shrimp dumplings in a chinese resturant to impress a friend of mine and the waiter felt so sorry for me that he had to speak to me in english.

as for the twinkie, banana, wordage, my favorite is nuprin..... I'm nuprin...

nuprin " little, yellow, different."
remember that? the headache medicine or something... i forget what nuprin was used for. :wink:

no, "little yellow different" was their (nuprin) slogan , i was trying to say nuprin was a headache medicine,
a headache medicine is bayer's slogan.
