reminder- World Wide SketchCrawl #3 May 21st !

Post by enrico » Tue Apr 19, 2005 9:26 am

Ok, sharpen your pencils and help us spread the word to hopefully make this upcoming SketchCrawl day the biggest yet ...
After some pondering we chose Saturday May 21st ! We figured having a sunday to recover from the crawl might be good, so we moved the date to a saturday ...
Ronnie and I will be in San Francisco again. We'll figure out a plan and maps before then ... we are also hoping to have t-shirts made by then ...

I've also started a mailing list regarding Sketchcrawl, if you'd like to be notified of news and updates please come by and sign up for it on the main page
http://sketchcrawl.com
cheers !

Feel free to use the postcard I made ... or make your own ... we have a sketchcrawl logo now ... X)

I'm going to be crawling on Sat. Already told the wife not to make plans cause we're going downtown to roam.

I started crawling about two weeks ago. It's fun as hell.

I've been trying to post about it on other message boards (like the bendisboard) I've also got a few artist friends online to do it as long as I remind them a couple days before. So, I'm gonna repost on other boards about it on Thurs. 19.

Excellent Donal, thanks for your support ...
For those of you in San Francisco ...
I have some more details as we just figured out a good route ...
Ronnie and I will meet people at the ferry building at the Embarcadero at 10am (I think there's a Pete's coffee or something like that inside ... I'll double check and let you know regarding that detail)
We set up a few meeting points through the day ...
coit tower, the marina and Ghirardelli Square for a needed icecream break and then we'll finish the day at Gordon Biersch Brewery back at the embarcadero area ...

This thread on the forum has some more details of the day's route ...
http://www.sketchcrawl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=155

I am in the process of drawing a map as well ...

Last time we had more than 30 people in San Francisco ... we hope to beat that record next saturday ...

wherever you are ... join in and get the nice warm feeling of being part of a world wide drawing community ...

cheers!

Priorities!

What's more important, something that only happens once a year, or a random party with your friends and family showering you with gifts?

Happy Bday Bannister !!

sorry to bombard you with posts about this ... but ...
we have details for the meeting point in San Francisco !
and even a map !

Ronnie and I are gonna meet everyone at 10 am in the Embarcadero's Ferry Building at Peet's Coffee. I'll have t-shirts on hand,
http://www.sketchcrawl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=182
please shoot me an email with details regarding sizes and colors if you'd like one, that way I have an idea of how many to bring ...

Here's a highly detailed map  with the route, I'll print a few of these to hand out. We'll see if we can actually cover that much ground ... looks like a bit of a hike.
Anyway ... as always spread the word and bring your friends ... look forward to see you there!
cheers.

Man, this is sooo cool. I wish I could be up there for this. Doing the crawl around these parts wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun... :|

You know, you're right. The more I think about it, there are plenty of cool locales in LA. They're just not quite as concentrated... In any case, I do love this town... :)
