Well, it's December everyone, the strangest month of the year! I hope you all have a happy one full of...well whatever your location gets around this time of year (presents, snow, heat, love). Have a good one, and remember to hug a toboggan, they need love too, what with all these fancy new sledding devices.

We have lots of ice.
We avoided several car related accidents last night and this morning I have been shovelling rock salt onto the pavement outside our house so visitors can actually get to our front door without skidding around too much.

now that i live in SoCal, I find that I miss the changes in weather a lot. But when I go home to St Louis, I realize... man, it's awful nice to not have to bundle up every single day.
