Teach Illustration... For life? In Sunny California?

Post by Mac McCool » Sun Oct 19, 2008 8:15 am

No more sleeping under bridges! No more working at Starbucks to finance your graphic novel!

California State University in Fullerton has a job opening for a professor of illustration. It's a tenure-track position (so if you get the job and tenure, you could have a job for life, right?!).

The one big requirement is: an MFA degree. If you have talent, a passion to help, patience, a positive attitude, and a way with words to explain what makes an image great, then PLEASE apply. Even more importantly, if you can help a friend or a colleague who would be perfect for the job, please let them know about this great job opportunity.

I have a BFA and a BEd and a post-grad certificate in illustration and I don't qualify either.

Of course I'm also not any kind of professional illustrator, so that's a bit of a blow against me too. :P
