Unrelated Venting

Post by Ben Montgomery » Sun Aug 24, 2008 7:48 pm

The woman I love was married Saturday.

Everybody thinks I got over her years ago. I needed to tell somebody.

Sorry this wasn't about art.

ah man sadness. Counting Crows and rain usually helped me get a good vent out. I had an experience where right before I went to ask the woman out that is now my wife I went to a wedding for a friend of mine, who was really good friends with two ladies I was smitten for in high school. One of the most awkward moments of my life, but also a good letting go moment. I haven't seen either of them again in person since. That was five years ago.

Ouch, sorry to hear that man.

My high school crush and girlfriend of just over a year recently moved 9 hours away to a different state, then broke my heart. So I raise my glass to you sir. You are in good company.

Sorry dude. It does suck, but as somebody else in here said already, you're in good company. I was with a girl for just over five years, got engaged only to have her leave me for somebody else and marry the other guy.

It sucks but time goes on and eventually so will life.

No worries. Chin up. Just go out and do something. Hang out with friends and don't think about it too much and in time this too will fade away.
